HOW WE OPERATE

Planned, Recorded and Professionally Managed

Every Raven Sky operation follows a controlled workflow from first enquiry through to secure delivery and close-down.

CAA-Registered Operator

Raven Sky is registered with the Civil Aviation Authority as a UAS operator. This is a registration requirement, not a licence or accreditation. All operations are backed by commercial third-party liability insurance.

A2 Certificate of Competency

Rob holds an A2 Certificate of Competency for operations in the Near People (A2) subcategory, where the aircraft and operating conditions permit.

Pre-Flight Airspace & Weather Checks

Every operation includes airspace assessment and weather evaluation before any flight is confirmed or commenced.

On-Site Risk Assessment

A dynamic risk assessment is completed on site before any flight begins. Site-specific RAMS can be prepared and provided before attendance where required by the client, site controller or nature of the work.

Secure Data Handling & Flight Records

Flight records, imagery and operational data are retained securely and are available to clients on request for compliance and audit purposes. All material is handled with clear professional boundaries throughout.

Raven Sky supplies aerial imagery and visual records to support inspection, maintenance planning, insurance evidence, contractor briefing and professional assessment. Structural diagnosis, formal building surveys and specialist opinions remain with the appropriately qualified professionals assessing that material.

Roof & Building Imagery

High-resolution stills and 4K video of roofs, elevations and hard-to-access structures to support condition assessment and contractor briefing.

Commercial Sites & Assets

Aerial records of commercial sites, plant, solar arrays and industrial assets for inspection support and maintenance planning.

Construction Progress Records

Dated aerial imagery to document site progress, support reporting and provide a visual record at key project stages.

Aerial Photography & 4K Video

Where useful, high-resolution stills and 4K video are captured alongside standard inspection imagery.

Standard image sets are usually delivered within 24–48 hours of the flight. Timing for larger or multi-site assignments is agreed in advance. All files are delivered via a secure digital link — no specialist software required.
